    Shopping for biopellet reactors.
I think the best fit for me would be one of these two.
Just wandering if anyone has experience with them or know of another that is similar.

    1. Recirculating design
    2. Self priming .. does not need feed pump
    3. Ability to control reactor output.
    4. INT or EXT

    Aqualund:
    $265
    quiet one pump
Not sure about screwed on bottom suppose to be for cleaning.
Not sure if there's a wait list.
    Reef Dynamics:
    $400
    Eheim pump
Jam loc lid? Not sure what that really is but sounds good lol
    5 week waiting list.

I use a kent phosphate reactor with a maxi jet 1200. Keeps my bio pellets moving great. Cost me 40 dollars.

I watched a vid with Jeff Macare of reef dynamics and his bio reactor and it's really nice. He drives home the point of the importance of the recirculating design...

But hey, what ever works! If you can get it gone for $40, git-r-done!

I hear ya .. I'm listening to all reviews. I don't want to go cheap and end up having to upgrade. I like the idea of effluent control just in case I need to dial it down but still have proper tumble.

just my .02 but I'm sure you can find a biopellet reactor setup for much less than those. I guess it's also dependent upon how many pellets you need to run on your system.

Yeah, I know I can find one cheaper but It sure would be nice to control effluent and fluidization separately.
