Not a problem... The "wood" floor in question is actually bamboo vinyl flooring over a concrete slab. She's not going anywhere... ;D

Sand bag #1. This is what 40lbs of sand looks like in a 700g. Only 760lbs to go...

With the foundation all laid out, just keep dumping sand...

    Are we done yet?

Nice.. Can't wait to see it up and running. Is this going to be a tank for display only?

This is the Reeflo Hammerhead closed loop pump. Stepped up to 2" in/out. (3) 1.5" Returns in the bottom, one in the back wall.

    The first drops...

    And shes full...

As it was cycling, it was not connected to out main system. (Hence the G4x sitting in it)
Our custom light rack is still under construction, but we had to do something... You can't have this huge tank and not be able to at least look in it, right?
After two weeks of sitting dark, we dropped 50 bi color chromis in, and rigged up this Lumenarc we had lying around...

Time to hook it up. 2" swing check and ball valve are installed, 2" pipe is run through the ceiling and dropped in on the far side...

    Nate hooking up the LocLine...

These pictures were from about a week ago...

The bottom will all be wrapped in 36" tall bamboo to match the rest of the shop, and also to hide the sand. Once we're done, there should be no way to get sand in the magnet... (knocking on wood...)

The light rack will be on tracks so we can slide it off both sides of the tank for access, and all be hidden inside the bamboo/tiki hut canopy.

Display only... And snorkel lessons!;D We've been collecting choice pieces for years, and they will finally have a proper home. We're also really excited about some of the fish we'll be able to keep in here. We received our Hawaiian Flame Wrasses the other day (3 females and one supermale) and the Choati leaopards should be here this weekend, along with the Latezonatus clowns. A gem tang is on the list also, but the price is CRAZY high on them right now...
And maybe, just maybe, I finally have a tank tall enough to keep a Blue Spot Jawfish from jumping out!
