On Oct 5th 2013 I plan to get married and my fiancée was wondering what band to get me. I was wondering if there are any specific types of metals that aren't reef friendly. I plan to keep the ring on when inside my tank, not sure if this is even possible.

    Any insight would be great.

    Thanks,

    Chris

Amy cleans up well when you unlock her cell in the basement, but your purple shirt is the show stopper, not gonna lie.

As far as rings I have a tungsten steel band thats non-reactive and gold is also safe. Platinum also would be reef safe since you are rolling in the big bucks as a top exec.

I wear my white gold ring, no problems. Just rinse it off after you're in the aquarium otherwise overtime salt with corrode metal.

Congrats on the engagement, hopefully your bride is as much into the reef as you. Mine never was but know I have her researching fish she likes and phosphate kits lol.

Thanks Bud, she cleans up well. ;)

Thanks, she is 50/50 with the tank. She likes it more now that things are starting to grow out and colors are starting to pop.

They also make bands that arent metal at all. I believe they are ceramic of some sort.

Thought this thread was about Wedding Bands...like horrible cover bands you hire to play at your wedding. So disappointed. ::) If you do need a band however, The Dan Band

I have a tungsten/platinum combo that seems to be fine.
