With Icecap 250w DE ballasts, for the 10k look I would recommend:
First I have the bulb, then the exact k with your ballast, then the PAR

    Ushio 250w 10k DE = 11521k = 78
    or
    Giesemann 250W Megachrome 13K DE = 10187k = 79

They both are good bulbs (ushio better than the giesemann) but will be a very crisp pure white color for you

You sure know your lights man, thanks so much you helped me out alot! I was also looking at the reeflux bulb on reef geek. It says no actinics required, do you need them with the ushio bulb?

With MH you don't HAVE to have Actinic with a good bulb. Unlike Florescent bulbs which have a pretty narrow tuned spectrum from their phosphors, MH bulbs have much more light output across a wider spectrum.

I have a pair of 150w XM 15,000ºK DE's over my reef and corals grow fast and strong, color is great, etc. They are a slight bit on the blue side, but it's a nice balance for the tank. Overall they're a very cool white.
