I am planning on ordering the Reef Keeper Lite Level 3for my 75 gallon. Is it worth the extra money to go from the level 1 to the level 3? Are you able to program it to turn a fan on when the temp gets to a certain point as well as turn it off? Same with a heater? Pumps for if the sump is running dry?

I went with the Level 3 myself. They have a newer SL2 module that offers salinity and is not offered with the L3 package but it did not interest me as I never intend to monitor or control salinity.

Yes you can control fans by temperature, you can also make it shut your lights off if it gets too hot and turn them back on again when it cools down. It will control a heater and/or chiller no problem too. As for the pump you would need some sort of contact to tell it when the sump is low but it can be done.
I would go to the forum at www.digitalaquatics.com for the best answers.
