Hello, I currently own a Beamworks 3 ft LED with 3 rows. But there is only one plug for all white (two rows) and blue (one row)
Now what i want is a LED fixture that will allow me to shine moon light(Blue only) at night.
What type of LED should i look at? are there LED fixtures with one plug for whites and another for blues? Or are there programmable ones? I would like to keep the cost as low as possible.
    THanks!

The only one I know is Marineland reef capable. It has only one plug, but has separate digital timers for white and blue.

As to whether it is actually capable of sustaining corals, I have no insight. I suspect it's ok for softies. No idea bout SPS/clams/etc. Suppousedly the light output is pretty straight down, so there will be quite a bit of shading outside fixture dimensions.

P.S. The middle row of blue LEDs is pretty bright. I would not truly call it a moonlight, I think it's too bright for that. It's more like actinic bulb. I can see using it only in the evening, morning, but I'd turn it off at night.

I have 24" one over my QT tank.

Apollo reef LEDs have separate moonlights. The fixtures I have, are ; 1 plug whites, 1 plug blue/uv ,and 1 plug moonlights. Love the fixtures and good results with them.

Just to clarify, the "blue" lights are not moon lights, but rather actinics. Moonlights are usually just a couple (2-4) individual leds. Most quality fixtures have separate plugs for daylights and actinics. A Reef Breeders value fixture would fit the bill.
