    I like that one seano, but would the 108w one be enough for softies?

    I had the 4x54W on my 55 and I am glad I had 4 bulb... 2 actinic and 2 daylight... I used the out-of-the-box bulbs until 2in10 educated me on the finer points of bulbs. Point is that I really think you'll want the 4 bulb fixture.

    and assuming you go 4 bulb, make sur your fixture has a fan....

    You could go with the 108W but with only two bulbs it is hard to cover the color spectrum effectively. Definitely go with the 4 bulb if you can.

    You could go with a 2 bulb, but that will be only enough for softies(like you want) & will not have much variety in your color spectrum. A 4 bulb will also allow you to get sps in the future if you'd like, for $70 more, rather then replacing the fixture.
