Reef log software Windows 7

Forum: Windows 7 compatible

Is there any software or freeware for reef logs? I'm looking for an application that will be able to send reminders of maintenance for example what is everybody using?

I don't know of any,but if you find anything please pm me,my new laptop has windows 7 and that would be too cool instead of keeping a reef journal on paper.

Win 7 is pretty decent backward compatibility wise.. (un-like Vista) Give one that is XP ready a go and it will 90% of the time be fine.. Less it's really an old 9x version ie. dos based

 

I've beeen using Aqualog for about a year now....it won't "send" you maintainence reminders, but it will show a pop up reminder when you open your log.

I haven't found anything better for the price ... it's free.

I don't recall Reef Logger sending you SMS, but you can give this a try and see if you find it useful/interesting. If so, you can request the addition of an sms warning message feature from Giannis86.

Thanks guys i did some research and only found a few which were limited in reference to functionality maybe i should look into writing such a software....LOL

There surly is a market it seems.

In the interim i will be evaluating the suggestions from the thread.
