Reef Novice

Hello, I am joining these forums as I set up my new reef tank.

I have a 55 gallon freshwater angelfish tank and my new 90 gallon reef tank. I built a custom stand and will have to get some pictures, and I have gotten as far as adding the water and salt. Although this is not my first saltwater tank. I had another 55 salt water tank, but I had an anemone in the tank and I left for vacation for two weeks, and when I got back I found that a powerhead fell on it and blasted it to death. As a result everything else died and the care takers didnt bother to tell me about the smell that plagued our house...

This tank I am going to make sure I go nice and slowww,

And seek guidence along the way as I learned the hard way not to trust the LFS. lol

LOL welcome to 3reef! Some LFS can be trusted but most chains IMO cant be! You need to get pics up we all LOVE pictures
