    For those that own this skimmer, what water level do you run the skimmer at?

    I got mine at 8 1/2". I also added a pvc elbow to the outlet and pointed it down to stop the splashing and noise.

    Same here... I run mine at about 8" depth, even though the manufacturer recommends 5 1/2". Seems to perform better

    8 1/2" inches and I also use the 90 degree elbow.

    I went to lowes and couldnt find any elbows that fit the output. What size elbo did you use?

    I'm pretty sure I got mine at Lowes. I can check when I get home tonight for ya. I do remember using some adaptor that came with the skimmer to connect the elbow. I think it said "metric" on it?

    I did not see any kind of adapter with the skimmer. I will search the box again when I get home.
