Reef Octopus 4" Needle Wheel

It looks like I used a 3" apx. piece of 1 1/4" schedule 40 PVC pipe. It is a snug fit into the "british size" of the adaptor that came with the skimmer. The "metric size" end goes into the output of the gate valve. The 90deg. elbow should be a standard 1 1/4" sch 40 PVC. Here's a pic for extra help.

 

That's funny, the British size.

 

1 1/4 inch rubber pipe coupler and a 90 degree 1 1/4 elbow.

 

My skimmer did not come with the adapter.

I hope lowes has those.

 

That is where I got mine. The rubber coupler has two metal pipe clamps on it but they are not needed. I cut the coupler in half and used it on two different skimmers.
