if you do not have a skimmer on the 55 at present
then I am sure you will be happy once the Reef Octopus has broken in, and gets about its business

knowing what time it is, is useful IME
but a skimmer on a reef tank, goes beyond being useful IMHO

My uncle has a collection of like 10 of the monster invictas and he wore one that was a tad smaller than his usual watches (he's a huge German guy so they suit him). It was a reserve ocean reef chrono 6144. I instantly fell in love with it I looked at other models but i loved this one most. So I'm now actually leaning toward the watch now. I also may get a sea hunter but that would be way too big for my 5'7" body although i do have a thick stocky frame. And plus, the smaller one i want is still relatively big and really heavy:eek:.

def a nice watch imo, however if you don't have a skimmer on that 55 yet I'd vote for the skimmer!!!

Oh i have an idea, I'll ask for the watch, and i'll probably get about $80-100+ from other family so i just need make at most $50 then i can afford the skimmer.
