    Yo!

    Does anyone own the above skimmer? I recently bought one, its been hooked up now for about a week. Its started producing skimmate etc... but its still releasing lots of big bubbles into my tank.
    How long does it take to fully break in?? I did want the 100f but they dont sell them in the UK :(

    Bump, I know there are some bh100 owners around. :) I have the bh1000 so sorry Im no help.

    i have one on a 20l i think it was about a month before they stoped its a great skimmer for the price

    Oh no a month?! Its creating a lot of splash back which is creating salt spray on my lights. Might try and mod it while im waiting for the break in.

    Hey I have one and its been great so far dont use the silencer thing though and dont use the extra sponge use can also but some blue bonded filter pad in the chamber between the intake and return

    so far i actually think the pump supplied (resun king 2) is rubbish. i think the skimmer would perform much better with a more powerful pump. Does anyone have any suggestions which pump i could replace it with?

    mine came with the octo 1000 pump

    thats just unfair, but i just remembered i have a broken deltec mce600 with a perfectly working aquabee pump. I think i'll make the switch!

    let me know how that works out for ya from what i read the octo 1000 pump is the new replacement pump for bh100
