I need to change out my odyssea MH bulbs, They say they're 15K but they look a lot like 10K.
It's a toss up between the Reef Optics 14K or the Phoenix 14K. I'm leaning more toward the Phoenix but wanted some opinions in the Reef Optics.
I'm also gonna be supplementing with UVL Actinics.
I don't plan on changing the ballasts just yet. But in the future, I'll swap them for IceCaps.

trust me... phoenix is what you want. Reef optics doesnt bring anything special to the table as far as spectral output

And you will see your light output DOUBLE when you switch out your odyssea ballasts for icecaps ;)

Kool. Then I'll definitely go with the Phoenix.
My reasoning for not changing out the ballasts just yet is that I have mainly softies and LPS. So I'm afraid of the IceCaps putting out too much wattage to burn my softies.
I'm worried if the odyssea ballasts won't fire up the Phoenix tho.
Anyone here with experience on this? Cuz I've heard some people's odyssea ballasts didn't fire up different brand bulbs. Is this true?
