Just curious, what is the coral 9th up from the bottom (orange).

 

Thanks... the coral is a Torch.. it's located in the lower left of the tank in the full tank shots..

just curious.... how is your clam doing under the PC lighting?

 

Well, without being able to ask it I would say it is going fine... It has grown quite a bit.. I dont really feed it anything.. It is very responsive to movement; fish, hands, changes in light, etc.. and it is very colorfull... I keep it high in the tank and its always seemed to be happy.

 

Looks great and you take awfully good pictures!

 

what is that in the pic below the first clam pic

 

If I had to guess I would say it is green star polyps starting to grow. I had them in the tank before the algae outbreak and they got strangled and died off.. I suspect they are regenerating.... The next two pics down show similar growths.. I'll be watching to see what happens with them..

 

i have something that looks sort of similiar but im not sure that would be cool if it was.
