And here are two short videos i took...not the best videos but im still learning the camera. Hopefully they will get better. The current was also very strong so keeping the camera steady was pretty tough when i was kicking to keep up with the animals. Lots of other divers were getting up in the animals faces and they were scaring them off. I kinda liked staying back and attempting to film them acting more natural and not just fleeing from the paparazzi. Anyway.... here they are.

hey im jealous too! If only my tank could look like that hahah!
Anyway, i was very surprised to see not many acros or sps in general. the majority of the sps i saw were plating or encrusting montiporas but very few branching SPS. There were tons of sponges, gorgonians, and various LPS. Thought that was kinda interesting.

Ok one more for tonight! I found the video i was looking for :) really neat stuff!! The divemaster was telling us that they only get rays 4 months out of the year and we were lucky to see a few different species. On this dive the first thing we saw as we were making our descent was a ray getting cleaned. It was VERY COOL but very hard to get photos cause i was trying to equalize, watch my gauges, and keep the camera steady all at the same time while dealing with a pretty strong current. Sorry if the video gets you sea sick but this was just awesome to see in person!

sick pics!!..... what kind of corals did you see? at what depths?
i love to look at pictures! of corals in there natural habitat, and compare them to how they are commonly positioned at home.

like how deep was that trumpet colony(i think thats what it was).

i saw the trumpets between 40-60 ft, sponges i saw at all levels. The more colorful montiporas were all below 60 ft. Seemed the deeper we went the prettier the montis got. All the branching SPS i saw was around 20-40 ft. The other LPS like the brain coralsi also saw pretty much at all levels. I did notice that around 70-110 ft i saw A LOT of halimeda growing...I can get you more accurate numbers on everything once i go through my log books and upload the info from my dive computer so i can match times and dates of the photos to the computers logs. Then i can get pretty exact numbers but i still have a ton of photos to get up so it may be awhile :)
For now here are a few more videos and photos...
