reef roids?

    Anyone heard of reef roids? Apparently supposed to be a new type of food ideal for filter feeders and many corals. Anyone have experience with this stuff? Good or bad?

    i used Seachem Complete which i guess is somthing thats meant to be the same. The only thing it fuelled was algae.

    I alternate between Pro Coral Phyton and Pro Coral Zooton when I feed about once a week. You should be careful too feed sparingly because overfeeding a tank may affect your water quality and promote algae growth. But, corals definitely benefit from feeding in my opinion.

    I think that we are talking about different things. Seachem Complete, to my knowledge, is a calcium and magnesium supplement. Reef roids are a plankton derivative.

    best way to avoid reef roids is to not sit on any cold /damp rocks IME?

    Yeah i meant to sya SeaChems Reef Trace - I think. The one thats a complete blend of important amino acids etc... its not, its a pile of wank! :angry:
