Lol. I can vouch for the Pakistani not being reef safe :( I have had to move all my LPS into my sump until i can catch the little bugger! He seems to be fine with all my other corals though. So if you have no LPS then i guess you could give him a try

Honestly the only 2 that are reef safe are the copper band, and the pyramid.

But the copperbands are sometimes also big time LPS eaters. So in reality, the pyramid is the only one. The pyramid is a planktivore, where none of the other butterflies are.

Both these fish need much bigger tanks than 50 gallons. I suggest if you have your heart set on a B fly, then get a small one of those 2, hope it lives. Be warned that CBB's are notoriously bad shippers and hard to acclimate. I personally have never seen one eat a healthy clam. But aiptaisa and feather dusters will be gone from your tank with a CBB if it lives long enough.

Anyway, if you get one of these, plan on upgrading in the near future to a bigger tank, or find it a new home when it starts to get bored in a 50g tank. That won't take too long unfortunately.

As it says on the sites.. ALL with caution, so it's a hit and miss... you might be lucky to get one that does nip at the corals but it is a risk that I personally wouldn't take (keeping the cost of the corals in mind).
