I like you return Line, it should definately widen the return flow instead of one jet of water plus you don't have to have that filter plugged in to run it which is an added bonus.

Oh, Yeah the fishy Recommendation, how about a striped Dartfish.
They don't get to large and are very active and live to burrow.
