it was moved, but that was all within the first few days, trying to find the right spot for flow/light conditions and it stayed there for the rest of the time doing great until it got bombed.

I don't think longnose typically eat corals. I had one for 2 years with no problem and definitely never messed with my frogspawn (nonfancy common one). It did however perch all over my corals, but usually the easier to perch ones with few or small tentacles, not my frogspawn or torch. I have heard when they get to adult size they will start messing with larger inverts like shrimp, so I would guess that's the reason for the "with caution" designation. I got rid of mine when it was ~2.5" long to avoid shrimp getting eaten problems.
If you have the tools (trap and holding cage/tank) you should quarantine the longnose for a week or two and observe if there is a difference. Excessive perching could be an issue I guess. If there's no recovery then start working on other issues. Also check param and all that good stuff before so you don't watch your coral melt away while the fish is separated.

It was in its spot for 99% of its life in the tank, moving it didnt stress it

My long nose is a model citizen too, unlike my aiptasia eating file fish that is now in my sump. It kept picking the heck out of my SPS.
