Reef Speak, you dig what I'm saying??

So, since I began working at my fav LFS I have heard so many different slangs for different things it makes me laugh. Just funny how everyone has their own reef speak but we all know what they mean. Stuff like this:

"hey man you got any roadie units in stock?"

"these zoooooos are the best"

"I started using lead lights recently" (seriously)

"what you think about using the cheetos in the sump?"

"filter, yes I have the one, the quiet one brand on my tank" (whisper)

"so what do you put in your refuge area in the sump?"

"I use the telescope to check my salinity"

"NEMOOOOOO, DORRRIIIIIIII"

 

lol Very funny and soooo true! I heard this once: use the orange tiger, great trate controller. rof

 

haha nice! I also forgot the

"you put the egg carton on top of the tank and you're all set!"

 

"Calcium: you know, milk, but in saltwater composition".

I know SOOOO many people who say "Anenome" instead of "Anemone"

It also sounded funny when I heard someone say "How much are you selling the shrooms for? And how about the fingers? (Finger Leathers)"
