    Hiya Natilus...

Got any recommendations for fan placement in stand/canopy?

Have four (large computer CPU fans) I can put anywhere in stand/canopy I want. - pretty powerful little fans that all run off a single small 12v powersupply.

Was planning to mount one blowing in and one out in side panels of top and bottom..., in canopy may be better off having couple blowing right accross water surface of tank (canopy top open).

    Watcha think?

I was running my tank at 82 when the glass tops were on but with the tops off it runs at 80 Thats what the heater is set at.

I set my heater at 78 that way the temp will change alittle during the night and heat up to 80 during the day.
Don't know if it matters or not just thinking it would be a little more like nature.

i will be making a chiller in the spring (i said that last year;))

in the summer the temp gets around 84deg, and i want to make this stable

i use 2 titanium heaters to heat the tank

    and all seems happy;)

I have three heaters for about 100 gallons. Two in my CPR Bak Pak and one in the sump. 600 watts total heating capacity. None of the heaters have to work too hard.
