My wifey thinks I'm addicted, i tell her that it's her fault because she just had to have a clown fish. I was just fine with my freshwater tank, but noooo she had to have a nemo. =P She's come around and is enjoying the tank now that it has some color instead of brown =P Also we've been talking that way down the line once we own a home that I can get a Huge tank. I'm thinking 250 gallon long? I need to find a tank I like that is longer then it is deep, I've looked at the Oceanson aquariums and I like the fact they have a built on stand and canopy, along with the front corners of the tank are rounded instead of butted against one another but every unit that is close to 150 gal is like 2-3 feet deep if not more. And with the canopy being only a couple of inches from the top of the tank a MH would be painfully hard to put in there.

I dont think reefing or aquariums is an addiction, its just a way of life, a path chosen by a select few... The few, the proud, the reefers. Haha.

See I think the husbands are more reasonable about this kind if thing. He starts griping as soon as he gets paid.. " no coral. No pumps and crap for the tank". Etc etc. I don't always listen obviously ;)
For some reason it is easier for me to get him to forgive me then it is to "ask for permission". ...
All men secretly want to spoil their woman sooo however most if not all woman do not want to spoil their men... At least not by allowing them to buy something expensive that they don't understand.

Ps all the single guys I would heed the warning ... Let her know that the hobby is part of you and you do not ever plan on changing that... If that is not ok no matter HOW HOT SHE IS... Then she is not good for you.

It all started when I took my wife to Georgia Aquarium during last winter. On that day, she asked how nice it will be to keep those at home and watch them everyday. Next day we started our search on craigslist for tank deals :) !!
