    The membrane and DI resin yes, prefilters and carbons not so much. remember its Dissolved solids not sediment or particulates. The key is use good prefiltration and carbon blocks before the membrane and its no big deal. My membrane gives me 99.35% rejection day in and day out but it requires the good prefiltration if I want it to last like that.

    I apologies for misinforming you and being misinformed, all tho the back of my tds meter ses and i quote (us epa's max contaminant level 500+) i guess it boils down to you just cant be leave nothing you see, hear, or read any more.

    Organizations like the World Health Organization among others try to instill fear in people by misinforming them on things like that. It is often misinterpreted, the only reason I know is I have been a municipal treatment plant supervisor for over 30 years and have to be well versed in the regulations, most people wouldn't bother studying them, myself included if I didn't have to! Pretty boring stuff.
