    Hey all,

Well I finally got my light in! Pretty excited about it. Thanks to Anenome and his new Sponsorship of 3reef. So far I would highly suggest purchasing from him.

The unit came via USPS and was well packaged in a plastic bag, surrounded by foam and packing material. Sorry, got ahead of myself and ripped it open before taking pics.

    The tank...
I have a 75g 4' long tank. Current lighting was 2 VHO bulbs. Can't remember the wattage but they were getting old hence the source of a good amount of my algae problem. I also had plans on adding another PH but the Korilia i bought didn't impress me with the flow amount. Unfortunately the high flow pump that had a crappy mount for apparently has some kind of wiring issue as well as i kept tripping my GFCI with it in use. As such will probably put the Korilia back in for now...

    The Light
I purchase the 55 LED RGB bridgelux unit. I really wanted to get the CREE unit however, budget constraints simply didn't allow for this. Which was a really good thing i went this route as the morning after i ordered this i blew a tire on the car! Go figure right. I opted to hang mine from the ceiling, i used a laser level to help me find the point above my tank to place my hook. This worked out great, didn't require measuring, and looks pretty good. I mounted the unit about 12-13'' above the water surface. Any lower and things really start getting dark on the edges of the tank. Even now, i can tell that ideally... i'd prefer to have two units over this tank maybe 3-6'' off the surface with optics. For now this will have to do. Another thing to note at this point is unfortunately i have a center brace... it's not horrible but it's not ideal either.

Zoa 2... I can't get over how great these look now. before they were basically brown with maybe a tad of white centers on a couple of them. Were kind of bland and i honestly didn't like them much at all... Now! They're green around the outside with a nice orange center. Beautiful! can't get over it how good they look. Wish my camera could do it justice... which it doesn't if you were wondering...
