    12am to 3pm blues 50% whites 50%
    4pm blues 50% whites 45%
    5pm blues 45% whites 40%
    6pm blues 40% whites 30%
    7pm blues 30% whites 10%
    8pm to 10 pm blues 10%
    10pm to 8am blues at 1%

My fixture is set close to yours. Except I run up to 60% & keep it there for 3 hours. I have gha growing like mad & cyano on sand. But my tank is only few months old. But it's slowing down now with maintenance & weekly water changes. So I can't say it's from the light or not. I also started a fuge with chaeto to help out.

I used to have a fuge but 6 months ago or so I found a person that wanted to trade their 150 for my 90 so I was so excited when we traded but its been a headache ever since first it was the bulkheads leaked then I noticed the stand wasn't made level along with adding about 100lbs of dry sand and 50lbs of dry rock I might just be going though a cycle but idk

I have a DIY build using 20 3W LEDs from Rapid on my 28 nano. My actinics turn on at 15% at 9:30. They rise to 50% over the course of 2 hours (11:30AM). Daylights on at 10:30, and again 2 hours to 50% (12:30PM). Daylights start winding down at 6:30PM, and off at 8:30PM. Actinics wind down at 7:30PM and off at 9:30PM.

Seems to be working out well. I have a lot of macro algae in the tank, but I can go a month or two without cleaning the glass (if that is any indication). I plan to increase it up to 55% shortly, and more up from there.

Yea if you recently added sand & rock then it's likely going through a minicycle. Even when adding live rock it can give a mini cycle also. Just keep an eye on your parameters & do water changes. Bulkheads can be a pain, it's cheap insurance to replace bulkheads or seals when setting up used tank. Plus using plastic shims from lowes to keep tank level will keep from having a tank blow out.

i have thought about shimming the tank but its the inside of the lip that the tank sits in you can see a little bit of black trim on one side and cant the other I was hoping that it wasn't a cycle cause i really don't have any testing epuipment other than for the big 4(ph,calc,alk and mag) didn't really need them with my 90 any more it was really stable looks like i need to make a trip to petco(only lfs we have here)
