If I were to buy two of these, could I control them both with an APEX unit??

and would they be able to dim from 0-100%? or do they just turn on and off...

PLEASE I need help here, this information has been impossible to find

They will dim but not via a controller. They have knobs on them.

I don't buddy. The only ones I know a little about is the reefbreeders fixtures because I own one of the photons

Would you say the photon is worth the money? And can I use only one photon instead of 2 value fixtures.

And can I control the Photon with an APEX, dimmable everywhere from 0-100%

You can't control the photon with an apex...No need to. it has it's built in timer with 1/2 hour increments and 2 separate channels. I'm running a "photon 32" on my 4 ft long tank and couldn't be happier with it. if you are talking about the 40 breeder, then yes a single photon would be just fine on that tank.

Rapid LED has a unit that can be used with a controller. A buddy of mine just got the Photon 32. Very nice looking fixture, has a remote control, and only one cord going to it.

I got the 24" photon & it has a digital screen to do all the programming needed. You can plug it into your apex & have it controlled to be able to shut down in case your tank gets to hot. I haven't plugged mine into my apex yet. My light cord doesn't reach the apex plug box. But I love this light. Amazing control over any other type of bulbs.
