Well..... I recvd my 2 - 48" ReefBrite Blue LED's to supplement my halides.

    WOW!!!! 8)8)8)

What a difference. Very intense with the actinic look. I could have gotten away with only one.

I highly recommend these for anyone looking for some quality actinics.

Took 30 minutes to install in my canopy.

These strips are awesome... Im not happy though with the explosion that took place to my bank account .

Here are some pics. They are not high quality and do not do these LED's any good justice.

    Them installed in my canopy

ReefBrites are sweet. I have around 35 and have not had one problem :)

    Nice purchase!

Wow. That looks great. I remember your thread when you were thinking about buying these. Looks like you made the right choice. :)

Awesome! I actually bought a 48" Reefbrite strip (white) to give my tank more of a sunlight-shimmer look during the day. I liked it so much that I ordered a blue one to supplement the actinics on the tank as well, although that one hasn't arrived yet. Definitely a quality product. I just wish that they would run the LEDs at the full 3W capacity rather than just driving them at 1.2W...

Is the driver in the housing or external? Hybridizing this out once the warranty is up wouldn't be too difficult if thats the case.

Wow! Looks really nice. I like how in your first pic you can clearly see the reflection line from the Reefbrite differentiated from the halide.

Edit: Just scanned a thread up on RC and they look nice especially considering the dimmability(word?)
