Good looking scape, should more than suffice for coral additions. Great looking helper.

Thanks guys! I see so many awesome scapes on the forums and that makes it so hard to judge for myself.

Also thanks for complementing my dog haha.. Shes a beautiful dog but you can't really tell.. obviously from the T5s.

anyway, as far as the scape:
I'm hoping that it's not going to be too difficult to add live rock to the existing scape. The top rocks are pretty flat.

I'm pretty sure Gl*******s built their kits to work as a modified durso. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong though, this is what I was told by a hobbyist. I don't think you could fit a durso in it though.

As for it being quiet, the overflow itself is definitely quiet. Most of the noise that I can hear seems to be inside the plumbing that I did, after the glass-holes kit. The tank was only filled with freshwater so far. It was just a test run so I didn't do to much tweaking of the F.L.U.S.H. system or the inside cover of the overflow. On Friday I am going to fill it will SW and tune it.

    Glass-Holes FTW!

Does anyone have any input on how many gallons per week this tank will be needing for top off? I'm trying to determine the right size ATO reservoir. Its a toss up between a 5 gallon bucket with a lid, a 10 gallon tank, or a 20 gallon tank.

Finally got it filled up. I am trying something different this time around. I have plenty of RO/DI water to use since I do aquarium maintenance, but I'm trying something that I have never done.

Yup... Walmart $.88/gallon distilled water. I bought 60 gallons worth and was lucky enough to find an employee there that was willing to help. Instead of me having to buy 60 1 gallon jugs, I had to buy 20 boxes with 3 1 gallon jugs inside. It worked out well.

Added salt last night, live rock today. I'm away for the rest of the weekend so I don't have any pictures of it filled. I also changed the aquascape up. I'll put up pictures on Sunday.

    :)

    Next on the list:
ATO.com single switch ATO and an MP20!

and just another shot to show the scape better:

In the pictures you can't really see a difference between morning/day bulb combo but there is a big difference. Right before I took these pictures I was messing around with the tank and I think I made it a little cloudy. If it clears up I'll snap another shot, but I still need to get a better camera.

Let me know how you like the scape!

I'm going to keep it BB. So far it's pretty difficult to keep clean to the point where I am satisfied with it. I'm hoping that a MP20 will change that.
