that's how I do it.

That is also how I do it ;D +1

For your other question, IMO, you only need to break your doses (of a single element) apart if you're not dosing daily. in other words, large doses (and param swings). Daily doses are small enough I do them all at once, well, you know, all of Ca daily dose in one 34 second dripping shot at noon and all the daily Alk in one 25 second dripping shot midnight
