    I need help I am about to buy a reefkeeper 2 for $100 I wan to know if it is a good deal and what are the features on this controllers. also can this be monitored by pc (online).

    its a discontinued product.. Why not just get a RKL 1? it would be new and comes with a power strip and temp controller..

    Same price too..

    The RK2 is an old product and the new modules and programs will not work with them.
    The Reefkeeper Lite Level 1 is only $95 many places and has many more modules and options available.

    I don't know anything about the AC Jr., but in this hobby you get what you pay for. I would go w/ the RKL 1 out of any controller due to cost and its ability to be upgraded.

    I use an RK2 on my nano basically because I got it for $20. Its cheap and it gets the job done but lacks a lot of the frills (like online access) newer controllers offer.
