Quick question...I have the RKL1 and two 300w Finnex heaters with their own external temp guage are plugged into it.

Do I have to turn up that external temp guage to like 82 in order for those to stay on and then have the RKL1 shut them when the temp is over 79 and turn them on when the temp is below 78.8?

Basically jackup the heaters and let the RKL do the controlling?!!??!

    Thanks!

Turn the heater controllers just slightly above your RKL setpoint so the RKL controls them but if it did not shut off for any reason the heater controller would not let it get too hot.

If the heater element has it's own plug then I would just plug that into your controllers power center.

The heaters are plugged into the PC4 on the RKL...but I think it needs to be set a few degrees higher on the heater controller, not the RKL. This way they are actually controlled by the RKL....

    Sound right?
