Coral fragging has just gotten easier with the ReefKeeper saw. It is made to meet the specific needs of Reef Aquarists.

    Features:

-Made specifically for fragging corals. Use on stony corals, soft corals, and live rock.

-The stainless steel diamond coated blade won't contaminate your tank with copper.

-Inexpensive, replaceable BladeSert blade guides make the most intricate cuts simple.

-Sturdy Thermoplastic work table won't corrode.

-Drain channels funnel coolant into the internal drain system for a clean, clear view while sawing.

-The upper blade guide is adjustable for varying material thickness.

-The spring-loaded tension system, molded into the frame, insures proper wheel alignment, simple blade setup, and perfect tracking hour after hour, and enhances blade life.

-The motor is permanent magnet, high torque, with built in speed control.

-The frame, cover, and water reservoir are molded entirely from structural grade thermoplastic making it corrosion resistant, extremely lightweight, portable, and easy to handle.

-All frame and interior support walls are extra thick for maximum strength and durability. It's rigid and quiet

One of the local members to our club has one of these and it is great to use for fragging with little to no stress to the coral. Nice clean cut on Acans, Favia, Chalice.... Nice Piece ;)

LOL....gotta give them credit for good marketing. This lapidary saw has been on the market for years.

NOTE....You MUST and I repeat, MUST run tapwater after fragging to get rid of all of the saltwater.

Not if you do a ton of fragging I suppose.

Hard to picture how big/small that thing is Scott and I don't see the dimensions listed?

The one I seen at my buddies house was about 2 1/2 ft tall. It was nice and quick for fragging.

Also don't use it for extended periods of time. Make a few frags and let it cool. They overheat fairly fast.
