    I have the pump stated above and i have a leak in the bottom of the impeller housing it is a knob of some sort that can be taken out im not to sure what to do from here the pump is brand new sorry for no pics

    That hole is used to bleed the pump of air or drain the pump housing after you shut the valves off to do maintenance on the pump. There is a little o-ring in there that may be pinched.

    i checked on that and it seemed to be fine i think it was the seal on the threads of the inlet connection, it might have just looked as the water was dripping from the drain plug as it is the lowest point

    Seals for the pump are only around $30 as I change mine every 2 years if they are leaking or not. Just got done doing one last week.
