I just bought the 3600 and the 6000 pumps and thought I would share the info. They are looking for people to test the pumps and are offering them at a big discount and free shipping.

look on marine depot at dolphin and reeflo pumps then you will see the savings. I bought two and it saved me about $300.00 between two pumps and shipping.

whats the rep on reeflo pumps - reliable, quiet? how much would it hurt to restrict the in and out down to 1" from the 1.5" that they come with?

I called and spoke to the owner and he said the pumps are designed to allow the owner to restrict flow if needed. He said as long as the intake pipe is as big or bigger than the size of the output pipe there will be no problems.

I went to a LFS that runs a few reeflo hammerhead pumps to see how loud they were. I could not even tell they were running. Reeflo advised these pumps are just as quite.

I have a ReeFlo Dart and love it. I simply hear the whir of the fan and that's all. Excellent pumps.

Thanks for jumping in on this Zach. It's good to know a 3reef member agrees that the pump is good.

Actually, I think there are quite a few guys here that use Hammerhead pumps and recommend them.
