Seahorse babies! Yay!

 

I added 3 male and 2 female dwarfs today! Ken from sealifeinc.net is a great guy! He always has added at least one more pony than I order and this time he even added two real healthy shoots of eel grass!

Update on the babies:
Even though I built the box to keep the adults from being sucked into the overflow, the little babies are small enough to get thru the nylon screen. So sadly I only have been able to locate two of them as of today.
Another male is very close to giving birth so I am scrambling to get a 2.5 gallon set up as a rearing tank. I think I'll go with the sphere from Tetra. It's $20 but the filter is air driven.

 

Nice work. WTG. Sorry about the babies but when you get that 2.5 up, it'd be free sailing. Hope to see some update pics soon and keep up the good work.

 

I hope that my local Wal-Mart has the same kit. The one I saw was in Omaha and I didn't have time to really look the box over to see if it will work. I could look it up online but I'm the 'look at it in person' type. Going to SiouxFalls today though so we'll see.

No such luck. PetCo had them but for $30. When I get home today I'll brain fart out something. I have a 2 gallon Beef Jerky Jug from my shop. I could build a UG filter and riser tube from pvc. (I think I can anyway) lol
