    Hello,

    After lurking for some time I thought it appropriate to join 3reef on the day my most recent reef, a 5 gallon EcoPico, finished cycling.

    By way of introduction, I've kept aquariums almost continuously for almost 50 years. My oldest tank currently is my 70 gallon rift lake tank established in 1982. I also have 2 FW planted tanks (50 and 29 gal) a 125 coldwater tank, and a 1,000 gal aquaponic system with hybrid bluegill. I've kept salt tanks off and on since the 70's and started with reefs when they first came on the scene but it's been several years since my last attempt became a Dead Sea biotope during a power outage. I'm excited about my little pico reef and many thanks to haloist and others for inspiration.

    I look forward to learning from and perhaps, in some small way, sharing with fellow reefers.
