    I've had this one for years and it's worked incredibly well. I've gone many months without calibrating, add a few drops of calibration fluid, and it's still dead on! Works like a champ, I can't imagine how anything else could be a significant improvement.

    If you don't have a consistent temp in your house (assuming that's where your meter is) I would ALWAYS calibrate before use. The temp throws it off a bit. I never use heating or A/C so I just made it a practice to calibrate before use. It takes like maybe 30 seconds anyways...
