    here's some pics, it isn't pretty but it does the job. you can see where the pvc comes from the center section down the stand and to the pump

    I have done both types of sumps. The way you had designed I had on my smaller tank and it worked just fine. I went with this design on my big tank after reading others designs and I think this way benefits in a couple ways. 1. you get raw water into the fuge. 2. you can control the flow going into both the fuge and skimmer section. It is nice to have that control.

    I agree. I finally found a used 30 long that I am suppose to pick up tuesday. Would have rather had a 40 Long. But could barely scrounge up this 30 with out buying a new one. So "hopefully" I can have it all together by next Sunday (11/8). Have a busy week of work and USAR classes.

    Then I need to order my skimmer, plumb the system, get an controller for my chiller, and finish painting the canopy. That should get me to the point where I can move my 65 and get the 125 set up.
