Thanks Jay. Yeah I say take time on the silicone. I think my mistake was not spreading it evenly and creating a good seal. The good thing about this is I got to take the sump out and clean it real good. Also the floor of my stand.

So right now my sump is drying out and waiting for me to redo the baffle. While I am at it I am redoing all the silicone. This gives me chance to do a few more mods also.

Well I redid my sump. Took 2 baffles out that weren't really doing anything and re-siliconed everything. I used alot and made sure it was spread wide and evenly. As I went to put the sump back in, I broke my skimmer. Cracked it right at the pump inlet. Then I was putting back my float switch for the ATO, it broke somehow. It just stopped working. UGHHH lol. I didn't think I'd be able to fix the skimmer. A good sized chunk of acrylic broke off. I used some plastic adhesive and it worked like a charm. I ran the skimmer all day in a bucket to test it and it isn't leaking at all. Now I just gotta fix the ATO. Man I hope this doesn't happen again

I don't think I was loling much when it was all going on. more like mother.......well you know, but I know it happens. One way or another things are going to go wrong at sometime in this hobby. I look at the positive. I got to redesign my sump a little which gives me a bigger fuge and make it stronger and better. Also clean up some of my plumbing and what not.
