Refugium Critter

    Hello...first post! I'm in the process of setting up my first reef tank (Deep Blue 60 gal cube). I'm cycling my tank, and I just added a wad of chaeto from my LFS to my refugium. It's full of great critters: lots of bristle worms and feather duster worms.

    Today I noticed a little pod that I can't quite ID. I have heard that some pods are good and some are bad. Here are a couple of pics and a video.

    Hi and welcome to 3reef,

    Your critter is so tiny making a definitive ID is difficult. The link below has images of the common zooplankton found in our tanks.

    Possibly Copepod or some type of Isopod. Look at the images and see what matches.
