    Hello all
I picked up some Cheato a couple days ago and with it came a bunch of copepods. All I have in the refugium is the Cheato a small hermit and a small frag of what I think is green star polyps(only has three polyps and looks like a tree branch)..The refugium is 10 gallon.

Do I have to add anything(special type of food?) to have them multiply in the refugium or will they be O.K. with just Macro algae.

Any opinions on how to do this will be much appreciated
    Thanks
    TIA

You may want to put some very small rubble rock that will also help in there growth. plus you will know were they are if you need to scoop them out and add some to your tank.
If your return from the Fug needs to go through any pumps Podes can't migrate to your tank. So you will have to manually add them

    Thanks Jason
I forgot to mention the substrate in the fuge is about 3in. argonite. And the way the fuge is made, nothing can get out without going through the substrate... refres2.jpg
So I guess these things eat algae and whatever comes in from the main tank?

Well I found this link http://www.uni-oldenburg.de/zoomorphology/Biology.html its like "The everything you wanted to know about copepods but were afraid to ask"
page. The article about parasitic copepods made me think that these things might be mistaken for ich... It's under "The biology of copepods"...Any opinions?
