I have a 65 gal FO (new setup) and plan to have a tang or two, a small angel and a trigger.

I would like a fuge for nutrient export, so I am planning on macro algae.

What else could I put in there? Could you breed any type of shrimp? I am thinking about another purpose of the fuge - to feed the fish.

It really would be interesting to hear what you all are growing and breeding in your refugiums - small and large alike.

Refugiums were originally created for the purpose of growing food!;D

I have a fuge with chaeto macroalgae, pods, crabs, snails, featherdusters...etc. and other things I have yet to identify! You will have microscopic and macroscopic life of all sorts!

65g is much too small for "a tang or two and a trigger".

I HAVE A NEW SETUP....6 weeks and was wondering about some brown algea in my refugium; light coating of brown/red algea on the mud and wanted to know if the Cholerpa would eliminate it or not
