    So My refugium looks like crud. There is this very thick, bright, and boient algae growing on my chaeto and in my refugium. The chaeto seems to slowly be growing, but I cant really tell. What do you guys think the problem is?

    It's supposed to look like a nasty algea filled waste hole... so that your main tank doesn't.
