    I need a light for my DIY fuge that will have the intensity to grow caulerpa and won't burn mangrove. What can i use?

    Welcome reefman_MC!

    Any normal output 18 watt flourescent light should be fine. My caulerpa is growing well under a 24/7 application of 18 watt NO flourescent lighting.

    UH OH!! I think I have a problem. My refuge is in my bedroom and I have a 18 PC fixture over it and I don't know if i'll be able to sleep w/ it on 24/7. can u help?
