OK, I recently discovered that my overflow box that my skimmer sits in will work as a really small refugium.

I just bought this light from lowes, its like an under-cabinet light, its got 1 halogen bulb in it, its 20 watts, 120v. its got a really nice reflector in it. I'm thinking this light will be good for my fuge but I dunno. I want someone to tell me yay or nay before I take it out of the package!! so.. Lemme know.

It could work but I would find out what kelvin it is. If it's not on the package contact the manufacturer and see if they know. you want something in the 3-7 K range.
