    Okay. I'm planning to get a 60gal cube and I'm wanting to use a fuge. I've read on fuges and watched youtube vids on how to do it but I'm still confused on how I'm supposed to make it and what size tank imma need. ??? can anyone explain this to me in english please?

    For starters its technically called a sump. The refuge is the part where you grow macro algae to remove harmful chemicals that are created from the biological cycle. As for the sump you create an area that helps improve the water quality and the environment in which your fish, coral, and inverts life. Normally you would have a skimmer to remove large particulate. You would have a refuge where you have your macro algae, as previously mentioned, and lastly you would have your return bay.
    I'm not 100% sure how to put it into words but that's the basic premise behind a sump. Additional benefits of a sump allow you to hide additional equipment such as heaters and so forth.
