Refugium Setup Checklist-Questions!

Hi....I am getting ready to setup my refugium and to place and order with reefcleaners.

Here is what I am going to do/get for the fuge! It is about 22'' x 7'' x 12''...its a section in my new sump.

Sand - about 1''-2''
Live Rock - small to rubble pieces.
Chaeto - not sure how much I need to start!
Red Mangroves - maybe 5 or 10....not sure!
Copepods - 1 bottle

My questions are how much chaeto, mangroves and copepods should I get? Should I just tell John at reefcleaners and he can decide for me....what do you guys suggest? Let me know if I missed anything too!

Sand bed should be 4-6". You do not need pods...you already have them. Cheato and Mangroves provide the same function... you don't need both. LR rubble on the sand bed will not allow it to functions correctly. Read my article on on sumps and fuges to make sure you understand the components of each.
