From what I am seeing I dont see a place for a fuge. It looks like a sump to me with a place to put something like bioballs in. Am I looking at it correctly? The water comes into the sump to the filter socks then overflows in to the second chamber and goes under the wall to the next chamber where it contacts your blue filter and then up and over to the skimmer, return section. Is that correct?

Here is a picture of my old sump that is very similar to yours. This is why it is confusing me. I am not seeing a place for a sandbed and the flow looks wrong to me for a fuge. I may be just looking at it wrong thou.

The sump i have is by aqueon. The cool thing about it is that you can have 3 sump set up methods. You can do the berlin method, refugium method and wet/dry method but i was thinking about doing the refugium method.

For me thats the way to go> I love my fuge almost as much as my tank. So many things you can do with it.
