Refugium Sizing / Functionality - Is what I have sufficient?

    I actually have a Mag 12 that I use to feed the return and my EV 240

    hrmm so perhaps a mag-9 for the ev-180 would be more beneficial

    is the skimmer the only thing it's driving? the 7 will be fine if it is, mine came with a Mag 5 that I upgraded so as not to run multiple pumps out of 1 sump that was just big enought to hold both of the pumps and not much else.

    going to run a Two Little Fishies Phosban Reactor 150 and a EV-180 from a Mag-9 i think. thanks for your input i appreciate it greatly. i started the 75g build tonight officially ;)

    skimming the water before the fuge will remove nutrients that macro and stuff feed on. you wouldnt want a die off

    ill be dumping water straight from the DT to the fuge governed by a ball valve to control the flow. so i shouldnt have any issue with it not getting nutrients. the skimmer is going to be drawing water from the sump section and returning it back to the sump section. might be double-skimming some water, but its all the room i have at the moment. in a perfect world id prefer to dump the water from the skimmer into its own baffled area prior to hitting the return. then id know for sure im not reskimming. for now this will suffice i guess.
